The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) is a standardized test started from 1926AD, is designed for the college admissions in USA. SAT test evaluates your critical reading, writing and mathematics skills. Getting a high SAT score can have a benefit when applying to colleges. Despite of most colleges and universities admission are not based on SAT score, it is important for the self- development and avoid the pressure that may cause by standardized testing.
Format of SAT test
- Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW section)
Reading test= 52 Questions, 65 minutes
Writing Test= 44 Questions, 35 minutes
- Math section
Calculator section= 38 Questions (30 MCQs, 8 grid-in), 55 minutes
Non-Calculator section= 20 Questions (15 MCQs, 5 grid-in), 25 minutes
